South – The villages of the Southern Highlands create the unique appeal the region is renowned for. Some say they are the Highlands’ best kept secret. Berrima, Bowral and Mittagong host the finest examples of what Australian towns looked like in the 1830s – they are lively country towns in the heart of the serene Southern Highlands that blend rural charm with modern sophistication.
