Support for academic progression
There are a variety of pathways in place to encourage students to progress to more advanced areas of study. You may be studying with us whilst still at high school to achieve a Certificate II and have aspirations to return and study with us full-time in one of our Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree courses; or you may already be studying at an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree level and aspire to completing a third year of Bachelor studies in association with La Trobe University.
Our partnership with La Trobe University means that you can start studying in the Vocational Education Training (VET) area and continue through to Higher Education (HE) study here at William Blue and eventually have your Bachelor of Business (Tourism and Hospitality) conferred by the university. All this and more is offered from our campus here in North Sydney!
We are firm believers that everything and anything is possible when you study in an environment that puts the student first.
Access to lecturers
Beyond normal class hours, students can access a lecturer to help interpret course content, understand the requirements of an assignment or gain general academic advice. One lecturer is available on campus each evening until the college closes.
English language support for international students
Teachers from Billy Blue College of English give weekly sessions on research skills, avoiding plagiarism, referencing, note-taking, summarising, writing assignments, tackling exam essays and much more. Students are also encouraged to make individual appointments with teachers to discuss their assignments before submitting them. Most students who take advantage of these services do much better in their assignments and exams. Remember, we are here to help you succeed in your chosen career.
