If you know the basics of Flash, ActionScript allows you to add  interactivity to your work.  

You will go through the fundamental techniques of programming, beginning with core concepts including instance names, variables, functions, properties, and methods. Then you’ll advance through conditions, loops, event handling, and controlling with ActionScript, to publish a Flash website.

At the end of this course you will be able to 

• understand basic ActionScript such as stop, play, goto, loadMovie
• plan the workflow in Flash
• understand classes, objects, methods, properties, variables, functions
• use master swf file to improve your workflow
• use Shared Library
• dynamically load text content
• build a slideshow
• build a preloader

• use Sound for the website
• publish a Flash website
