International students wishing to study cuisine and patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu Sydney campus, can first improve their language and academic skills on dedicated courses at Billy Blue College of English. This Advanced Level program is for students who have an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent). The course aims to:

  • Provide study & research skills for future tertiary study
  • Introduce industry-specific language and skills
  • Introduce aspects of industry operation
  • Introduce French culinary terms
  • Give an understanding of Australian social, cultural and hospitality contexts

The course is 10 weeks (250 hours) in length and students successfully completing the program gain direct entry to Le Cordon Bleu Sydney campus without needing to do an IELTS examination.
